Community Financing, Co-Operative Development and Social Business Development for Livelihoods

Programme Objective:

To promote cooperative development and community participation in financial activities for generating capital, employment generation and economic empowerment of the wider marginalized community including women, ethnic minority, urban dwellers etc.

‘Community financing’ is an innovative and more progressive financial system created by Bangaj, where community will contribute to generate big capital, so that they can able to compete with other big private capital. So that, it will be accommodated more human resource, these resources will come mostly from poor and marginalized community, on the other hand community generate more and more surplus amount and it will be help to contribute to address the common community need and interest.

  • Savings and Capital generation with better and modernized management by the community;
  • Initiation and Management of Income Generating Activities through assessment by group or individuals
  • Capacity building of CBO and Cooperatives on better management and financing
  • Networking with Government Institutions for Policy Advocacy and Quality Services
  • 5 Partnership with different financial institutions
  • Management a national network with CBOs and Cooperatives in different areas of the country
